CEAPAT has promoted the creation of Iberoamerican Centre Autonomy Personal and Technical Assistance (Ciapat). The Ciapat is a center that comes to Personal Empowerment, Accessibility and use of the Products and Assistive Technology for elderly, disabled and dependent on permanent or temporary in Latin America. The Ciapat belongs to American Social Security Organization (OISS) and includes technical assistance and collaboration of the Reference Centre for Personal Autonomy and Technical Aids (CEAPAT) belonging to the Institute for the Elderly and Social Services (Imserso), Ministry of Health and Social Policy of the Government Spain. The Center is located in a very central location in Buenos Aires (Argentina), General Catalog features products to support a permanent exhibition and technical library, and provides information and advice on assistive technology and accessibility.
